Transport for London (TfL) are planning to resurface the carriageway on the A217 Reigate Avenue, between Rose Hill roundabout and Sutton Common Road from tomorrow.
Below you can find attached a letter that has been sent by TfL to local residents to inform them that these works will be taking place.
These works will take place overnight from 21:00 until 05:00 the following morning on 19 July, as agreed with the London Borough of Sutton. They will complete the noisiest works by midnight.
During this time they will need to make some temporary changes, as outlined below.
- There will be a full closure of Reigate Avenue between Rose Hill roundabout and the intersection with Sutton Common Road. Please follow the signed diversions. You will still be able to access your property,
- TfL will need to suspend some parking bays on Reigate Avenue between Glastonbury Road and Rose Hill roundabout. The suspensions will be clearly signed so if you usually park in this area, please move your vehicle in advance,
- There will be limited access into Glastonbury Road from the A217 Reigate Avenue for brief periods of time as machinery moves across the junction, however you will still be able to access your property.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with TfL.
