The grass verges along the A217 will finally be cut starting tomorrow.
Many residents have raised concerns with us about the state of the grass verges along the entire stretch of the A217 from the Rosehill roundabout down towards south Cheam and Belmont.
Conservative councillors, Paul Scully MP and our local London Assembly Member, Steve O'Connell, have been taking this up with Transport for London (TfL) who have responsibility for cutting these back as it is a 'red route', and they have finally confirmed that works will begin on the verges tomorrow.
