Apprenticeships play an absolutely vital role in supporting people of all ages to get the skills they need to succeed and it is great news that over 5 MILLION apprentices have been trained in the UK since 2010. This year, one of our local Conservative Councillors, Jed Dwight, tells us why choosing an apprenticeship worked for him, and why it can work for others too!
We're also really proud that our local MPs have always been keen to support people to get the skills they need too, with Sutton and Cheam MP Paul Scully providing work experience opportunities within his office, while Carshalton and Wallington MP Elliot Colburn is partnering with Carshalton College to offer an Apprentice Caseworker Role within his office.
We are lucky to have some great colleges across our area providing excellent apprenticeships, while more information about apprenticeships and what they offer can be found here.
