Free dog chipping, agility tests and advice about dog welfare will be available at a dog initiative at St Helier open space opposite St Helier Hospital, on 25th August from 11am - 4pm. The chipping and dog agility tests are being provided by the Dogs Trust.
The event is being run by Sutton Housing Partnership with the support of the borough's police-led LEAD (Local Environmental Awareness on Dogs) initiative, which promotes responsible ownership of all breeds of dog while tackling anti-social and inconsiderate behaviour by individuals with dogs in a way that protects and reassures the public.
The event has been timed to coincide with National Dogs Day on 26th August.
We hope to see as many dog owners come along as possible.
