Conservative MP for Bromsgrove and Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Sajid Javid, came to Sutton yesterday to hand out leaflets at Worcester Park station advertising the Open Primary to select the next Conservative candidate for London Mayor.
Sajid spoke of how important it was for people to sign up to get involved in the Open Primary and take part in the selection of the next Conservative candidate.
Sajid said, "It was a pleasure to come to Worcester Park and join activists to encourage people to take part in this very important decision. I know Paul Scully has been doing a great job as MP for Sutton, Cheam and Worcester Park, and we need a Conservative Mayor and London Assembly Member in place next year to help him continue that good work. I hope everyone takes the opportunity to sign up to vote in the Open Primary."
