Paul Scully, the Conservative MP for Sutton and Cheam, has been re-selected to stand as the party’s candidate in the General Election on 8 June 2017.
Matthew Maxwell Scott, Chairman of Sutton Conservatives, said: “Tonight members of Sutton and Cheam conservatives unanimously reappointed Paul as our candidate for the general election. Paul has been an outstanding champion for our local community and we have every confidence that he will continue to be in the years ahead. I am personally delighted for Paul and wish him every success."
Paul said: “I am pleased and honoured to have another opportunity to seek to represent my local area. I take nothing for granted and will be working hard to justify the trust people have put in me and be as energetic a champion for Sutton, Cheam and Worcester Park as I can be. Should I be re-elected I will continue to work on pragmatic solutions, not polishing empty soundbites."
